Policies (first time clients-please read through)


Cancellation Policy: 
We request at least 24 hours cancellation notice on all appointments. Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, so if you do not give the proper notice of at least 12 hours prior to the session start time (we do recognize that there are emergencies, if one occurs, please let us know as soon as you can and we will wave the fee), you will be charged for the session time in full.

Also, when scheduling, either over the phone, in person, or online we require a credit card on file (secured in our system scheduler, not written down, mind you, so VERY safe), in order to secure your appointment time specifically for you.

Also, If you forget your appointment and do not call, you will be charged in full for the appointment and must pay for the missed session before any future bookings. If your sessions are being billed to the insurance company, they cannot be billed for the missed appointment. You are responsible for payment of any missed sessions, you are also required to have a credit card on file for missed appointments in these cases, we will bill the normal rate for massage, not the insurance rate.

Other Policies

All payment is due at the time of the session. We do not bill to you. In special circumstances, some insurance may be billed (in these cases, this will be discussed prior to the session, otherwise cash, credit card or check are accepted).

We are not doctors and therefore cannot diagnose or prescribe. Please speak with your physician if you have any questions or concerns about massage or any other therapies we offer at Creative Healing.

Because we are a service-based business, all appointments, gift cards, and services are 100% nonrefundable. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please discuss with with the owner, Elizabeth Shumaker directly (406) 860-4207 to resolve any differences. We always aim to the highest satisfaction and service to our valued clients, and want to know of your concerns.

Our massage and bodywork is strictly therapeutic. We will not allow any sexual connotation or energy. If we feel that anything is inappropriate, we reserve the right to promptly end the session with full payment required.

Please be mindful of your arrival time and do not arrive too early. Oftentimes we are with other clients or returning phone calls up until 10 minutes before your appointment start time. Arriving within 5-10 minutes before your appointment start time is appreciated. If you are late, please understand that we will not compensate for that missed time. We must start and end at the set appointment times.

If you are sick: Please respect the heath and well being of the therapist and do call ahead of time to let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to be avoided being charged for the appointment time. We do understand sometimes it is hard to predict when you are getting ill, but please keep in mind if the notice is as soon as the of the same day of appointment, we will likely need to charge for that time. You can call and leave a voicemail the evening before, or send a text to 406-860-4207. Thank you for understanding.

A word on cleanliness: Please respect your therapist and do arrive in a clean state, having taken a shower recently. Also, please do not wear heavy cologne or perfume. Please notify the therapist of any localized contagious skin conditions ahead of time. Please do  use common sense and cancel (within 24 hours notice) if you suspect a contagious illness of any sort.
